Call for Papers

You are invited to submit your abstracts for the Lem Next Gen Science Forum. Abstracts should be written in English, the official language of the event.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

Deadlines

Please, remember the following important dates:

  • March 6, 2026: deadline for submitting abstracts
  • March 30, 2026: information whether the abstract has been accepted/rejected
  • April 15, 2026: deadline for corrections to abstracts
  • April 28-29, 2026: conference dates.

Abstract submission

  • Pick up thematic panels:

  3. Green Transformation
  4. Smart Cities and Society of the Future
  5. Health Engineering, Future Medicine, and Biotechnologies
  6. Frontiers of Science: Extreme Technologies and Fundamental Research
  • Abstracts should be submitted via e-mail lemforum@pwr.edu.pl .
  • All abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Volume: max 200 words ready for printing, MS Word for Windows format (.doc).
  • Paper size: A4.
  • Margins: left and right – 20 mm, top and bottom – 25 mm.
  • Font: Arial, font size – 12 pt, single spacing.
  • Title: in bold type, capital letters, Arial, font size – 16 pt.

Recommended structure

  • Introduction to the field (2–3 sentences): a brief, accessible overview of the research field, written at a basic level and without excessive technical detail.
  • Background and rationale: a concise explanation of the context, motivation or research gap that justifies the study.
  • Main findings and conclusions: one clear sentence stating the key results of the work.
  • Broader context and impact (2–3 sentences): positioning the main findings within a wider scientific context, clearly explaining how the results advance the field.
